About Rise & Shine Wellbeing

Support Rooted in Understanding

Rise and Shine Wellbeing is situated at the The Broadway Studio and was created to offer a holistic approach when it comes to coaching, viewing the child as a whole person, looking at all aspects of their lives. It was also created to offer Reiki to children who are on the spectrum plus relaxing facial massage for parent/carers and young people. These treatments are to help promote calm, emotional balance and overall wellness.

Lynsey knows only too well how hard it is to find someone who truly understands the emotional weight parents and children carry. This is why her work is deeply shaped by lived experience, empathy and a commitment to helping children and their parent/carers to feel less alone.

Meet Lynsey

Lynsey’s path into creating Rise & Shine Wellbeing began long before launching her practice.

Earlier in life, Lynsey experienced debilitating panic attacks but was able to overcome them and work through those difficulties which gave her personal insight into anxiety, the effects it has on the body, emotional regulation and the importance of feeling safe and supported. This led her to explore various modalities for personal growth and self-improvement.

However, it wasn’t until her own child was diagnosed with complex issues that she delved deeper into understanding the connection between our thoughts, emotions and behaviour. Frustrated with traditional therapy, she adopted a holistic approach and began to see remarkable improvements not only for her child but for herself too.

These lived experiences allow Lynsey to connect with parents and young people with genuine empathy, patience and understanding.

As a mother of a child with additional needs, Lynsey understands the daily emotional strain, uncertainty and advocacy required to support a neurodiverse child. She also understands how isolating parenting can feel when others do not fully see the challenges families face.

At Rise and Shine Wellbeing, Lynsey understands how important it is that children feel heard, supported and guided at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
